Cancellation Policy for Continuing Education Courses
A complete list of continuing education courses may be found on our Continuing Education page.
This policy applies to Canine Sports Medicine when it is taken as a CE course.

For continuing education courses, the full amount of the course tuition is required at the time of registration. If a student cancels at any point, the student will receive an 85% refund less the 3.5% credit card company charge.

Notes:

If a student cancels one course of a 2-course package, the refund would be calculated based on the tuition that would be charged if the course were taken as an individual course.

If the tuition for a re-scheduled course is higher than for the cancelled course, the difference will be due 90 days before the start of that course.

Course Tuition Deposits

We require a $1,000 deposit for the following core courses: Introduction to Canine Rehabilitation, Clinical Skills, Canine Rehabilitation Veterinary Nurse, and Veterinary Acupuncture modules. Our discounted 2-course packages also have a deposit of $1,000 per 2-course package. The balance due will be charged 90 days before the start of the first course. If you register for just Clinical Applications, the entire course tuition will be due. For our live continuing education courses (in-person and Zoom) , students pay the entire course tuition at the time of registration, since course tuitions are usually less than $1,000. If Canine Sports Medicine is taken as a stand-alone course (not part of a 2-course package), the entire course tuition is due at the time of registration.

Registration for Future Courses

If students register for a 2-course package that includes future courses and the tuition increases after they take the first course — but before they take the second — the tuition increase is NOT applicable. If the tuition increases before students take the first of the two courses, then the new tuition rate will apply.

Students registered for future courses must contact CRI when they have selected the dates of the course(s) they plan to attend. This is the only way to guarantee a seat, and it will not happen automatically!
